Understanding This Page

Table Columns

  • Course — The course prefix, number, and title. When the title is a hyperlink, it leads to the official course description in the ECU catalog for that year. Courses offered before 2017–2018 or beyond the current catalog year are shown as plain text.
  • Sec — Section number. Multiple sections of the same course may be offered in the same semester, each with a unique section number.
  • CRN — Course Reference Number. The unique five-digit identifier assigned to each course section for a given semester.
  • Credits — Semester credit hours. Variable-credit courses show a range (e.g., 1–6).
  • Schedule — Meeting days and time for face-to-face sections, shown as a day indicator graphic above the time. Online, hybrid, and remote sections show their instruction method label instead. Summer sections also indicate the sub-term (1st Summer, 2nd Summer, or 11-week).
  • Location — Building abbreviation and room number for face-to-face sections. Blank for online sections.
