Minor Overview

This minor gives students a compact path into geology. Students complete the introductory lecture and lab sequence, then choose additional GEOL coursework at the 1000 level and above 1999.

  • Core, 4 s.h.: GEOL 1500 – Dynamic Earth; GEOL 1501 – Dynamic Earth Laboratory
  • Electives, 14 s.h.: 4 s.h. of GEOL 1000-level courses and 10 s.h. of GEOL courses numbered above 1999
