Requirements

The official ECU Catalog is the source of record for admission timing, approved courses, grades, and degree requirements. In summary, qualified students may count up to 12 s.h. of graduate coursework toward both degrees.

  • Students may apply with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 during the semester they expect to complete at least 60 eligible undergraduate s.h.
  • Graduate coursework begins in the third year.
  • Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Students must earn a B or higher in approved graduate courses for transfer credit into the MS.
